If buying directly from Umps, your Umps Watch personal alarm will cost $495 for everything you need to get started. Ongoing service costs are $22 a month, and include cellular connectivity and 24 x 7 monitoring.

Where can I use the Umps Watch?

You can use the Umps Watch everywhere there is Telstra signal. It is designed for people on the move who want a personal alarm at home and out in the community.

Does my Umps Watch need to be charged?

Yes, your  Watch is like a mobile phone and needs to be charged regularly. With typical usage we see the battery last three days or 120 hours in standby mode. We recommend that our customers charge their Watch every night to form a habit.

What happens when I activate my Umps Watch alarm?

When activated, your Umps Watch connects you to our 24/7 Australian-based monitoring centre. A real person will speak with you and provide any necessary support, whether it’s connecting you with a loved one or, in the case of an emergency, dispatching an ambulance.

Can I use a personal alarm with a pacemaker or implantable cardiac defibrillators?

Does the Umps Watch detect falls?

Yes. The Watch detects hard falls with fewer false alarms than previous technologies. Please note: falls detectors can miss some falls, so use this as backup protection.

Can I wear my Umps Watch in the shower?

Yes. The Umps Watch is completely waterproof.

What happens if I accidentally activate my personal alarm?

The Umps Watch has been designed to avoid accidental activations. However, if you accidentally trigger your personal alarm, you can cancel the alert within a few seconds. Alternatively, you can just let one of our friendly operators know it was unintentional.

How fast will it take for my Umps Watch to arrive?
