Leave the setup to us
Our Australian based team is here to support your client getting set up and feeling confident with their personal alarm.
After onboarding, we proactively monitor personal alarms to ensure they stay connected, immediately reaching out to address any loss of connectivity.
Monitored and non-monitoried solutions
Your clients have unique needs, preferences and circumstances, so we offer a variety of options.
When an alert is triggered, an operator trained in first aid and emergency response will respond within 2 minutes. They will initiate the appropriate care, contacting family or emergency services if required and remain connected with your client until help arrives.
Learn moreWhen an alert is triggered, your nominated contacts will first receive an SMS with the GPS location. Calls will then be made in a pre-set order. You can record up to 5 nominated contacts.

Advanced falls detection
At Umps, we have fine-tuned our falls detection to reduce false activations because the greatest threat to your clients' safety is an unreliable alarm—One that’s inaccurate, frustrating and ultimately left unworn.

Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve answered the most commonly asked questions here.
The Umps Link Pendant will work at a range of more than 100 metres from the Hub, comfortably covering most large houses. When the Umps Link is set up, the Pendant range can be tested.
No. The Umps Link Pendant will operate for over two years without charging. We'll get in touch with the client when their Pendant needs to be replaced.
When activated, the Umps Link Hub connects to our 24/7 Australian-based monitoring centre. A real person will speak with your client and provide any necessary support, whether it’s connecting them with a loved one or, in the case of an emergency, dispatching an ambulance.
Yes, you can use a personal alarm with a pacemaker; however, it's important to follow guidelines from both Umps and your pacemaker manufacturer. For more information, read our detailed review on considerations when using a personal alarm with a pacemaker.
No. Research shows that even the best falls detection features can be unreliable, often activating when a person hasn't had a fall. Instead, we've made our Pendant lightweight, completely waterproof, and with over two years battery life.
Yes. The Umps Link Pendant is completely waterproof with a quick-dry lanyard. We encourage users to wear it in the shower for additional safety.
The Umps Link Pendant has been designed to avoid accidental activations. However, if a client does accidentally trigger their personal alarm, they can cancel the alert within 10 seconds. Alternatively, they can just let one of our friendly operators know it was unintentional.
Yes. Several Umps Link Pendants can be paired to one Hub, allowing multiple people to use the same Umps Link simultaneously.
In a power outage, the Umps Link will continue to operate for over 50 hours. The monitoring centre will receive a notification that power has been lost, and will monitor the Hub. The Umps Link should be reconnected to power within 40 hours to maintain connectivity.
No, the Umps Link Personal Alarm comes with its own 4G connection, operating over the Telstra network. If signal strength is limited in your area, our dedicated support team can work with you to find a solution that meets your client's needs.
Yes, we have special response protocols to support people with hearing impairments and profound hearing loss.
Both the Umps Link Hub and Pendant light up when an alert is triggered, providing visual indications of an alert activation. The Hub lights will continue to pulse while a call is connected.
We can work with you to create a unique alert protocol to suit your client. This may include text message prompts, calling nearby emergency contacts, or escalating directly to emergency services.
Of course. Please contact us on 1300 907 272, and we can arrange to call your client to answer their questions.
